Bought a roll of Black and White film today Ilford XP2 in anticipation of arrival.

Forgot to say they will be manual focus only as this is a manual focus camera. Where I learnt all about Aperture Priority which I still use and love today.

As far as I know all my D series lens will fit. The G lenses won't.

It was my first Nikon and have searched to buy another for years. Yesterday I bought one on the internet but will be a few weeks before it arrives. More to follow......

I could but it would be a lot more expensive. Then I would have to drive all the way to the bottom of France beside the Mediterranean. Its so much easier to get a cheap flight. Hope this trip on 13 th Dec should make air transport of camera gear a thing of past. Besides the SB700 is 60 Euro cheaper ...

Looking at buying one for the D500 now and will leave it in la la land with the camera.

Its the hassle of bringing camera equipment through airports and onto planes has become a nightmare.

At the end of the day it is your site and you just make the call that suits. I will be here anyway.

When you say opening up the forum. What does that mean ? Do you not have to gain approval before joining anyway ? Or do you mean lurkers can access without joining ?
