Re: Squirrels
Interesting, It has been the eastern Greys Squirrels that have slowly been encroaching on the territory of the native Red Squirrels in the UK. But slowly the Reds are regaining ground. A few years ago there were only a few communities left but now these have increased significantly. The Greys were b...

Re: My Suzuki Bandit.
Yes it was a French car and in fact it was the 3rd Citroen I'd owned, so I was fairly confident that it would be fine. Turns out the gearbox had been a problem with deveral models and that part was Italian and actually made by Maserati!!!! I now have a car from a Japanese company made in the Czech R...

Two lights
One to the left with a large silver brolley and a second to the right with a softbox. A 40" silver reflector was also used to the right and the background was lightened in Paintshop Pro X1. 'Just hope the customer likes them

Re: My Suzuki Bandit.
I had awful firmware issues with the automatic transmission on the Citroen. It had the sensodrive sytem with the flappy paddles which when it worked was great, but last year it went wrong spectacularly. It would put itself into neutral for no reason and at it's very worst I just couldn't start the c...

Re: Fujifilm DSLRs
The S5 seems to be quite hard to find now which is a shame and fuji seem to have pulled out of the DSLR market at least for the time being. You may remember that I "cut my teeth" on a Fujifilm Finepix S2pro. I sold it to a colleague of mine in the North East and the camera is still doing sterling se...

Re: Nikon D700 Banding!
The D200 banding only affected something like a couple of thousand bodies from the early batch and these were recalled for modification to the sensor. I wonder if they were all returned thoug? The photographic press made more of the problem than it was and mine weren't affected by the problem. Funni...
