Hi,

My name is Debbie and I live in Alabama. I primarily take photograph of birds. Here is a link on Pbase.com where I post my pictures:

I started off with the Canon 10D which I gave to my youngest son. I now use the Canon 5D and 40D. I owned only Canon lenses. They are the 50mm F1.8, 17-40mm F4L USM, 100mm F2.8 Macro USM, 28-135mm F3.5-5.6 IS USM, 135mm F2.0 L USM, 70-200mm F2.8L IS USM and the 100-400mm F4.5-5.6L IS USM. I also have the Canon EF 2x II extender, Canon Extension Tube EF25 II and three Kenko Tubes (36mm, 20mm and 12mm). I have one 500D close-up lens. I have five flash units (1 - 430EX, two 550EX, one 580 I EX and the new 580 EX II). I have the Canon XL1s camcorder with the 2x extender and the EF adapter so I can use almost any of my camera lenses with my camcorder.

Welcome Debbie, Think you and Jon will get along great as he also likes photographing birds. I am more into landscapes and love the mountains. Spend lots of time in them during the summer months. Again, welcome and post some photos.

Welcome to our forum Debbie! You have some wonderful images on your PBase site. Maybe you can give me a few tips on the best way of creating these images. I have dabbled with backyard birds, but I've never been satisfied with the end results.
