Sunset over Cornfield

This was shot with the Tokina 12-24 and the S3. Would be glad to have your impressions.

I love the clouds and the shapes of the corn stocks. The DR of the image is pretty good. I do wish there was more detail in the corn. It seems a bit dark. Maybe a graduated ND filter would help?

Like your second try. The large ear of corn leads the eye into the photo.

I like the sky and the sun but the large corn leaf on the right is a distraction for me..

I agree, and it also blocks the sun, so that it does not overwhelm the image.
