We have a lot of fields with those rolled up bales of hay. Was thinking about getting one as a back stop for my arrows, They sell for $30,00 out here and are local grass. Not much food valve in them for the animals according to the vets. All my hay comes from eastern Oregon and eastern Washington where the soil has more minerals in it.
Three Scores and 14 years old and still going strong.

That would probably make a good back stop! Dense and heavy. I think these have more food value to them. The soil here is very rich.
