Nighttime HDR

Post by jon.oman »

Another customer saw an image of his business that I made. He asked if I could make the business name stand out, since it was hard to read. I used the RAW file to create a two image HDR. What do you think?

Looks good to me, Jon. Which one is the correct color of the door?

I would say that it is the color of the original image. In trying to get the business name to stand out, I had to play with the curves during the HDR process. That had an impact on the color of the door as well.

doubt if the customer will even notice the difference. Most of us like bright rich colors.

You are probably correct in that assumption.

Thanks Peter! This one was a challenge for me. I'm happy with the results.
