The following test images were shot using my D700 and a tripod.
#1 - 24mm f2.8
#2 - 24mm f5.6
#3 - 24mm f8
#4 - 24mm f11
I thnk, for me, this lens is a keeper!

That lens looks like it is doing a fine job for you. The reflections of the cars going by are all in focus too.

Am satisfied with my lens collection so don't plan to replace any soon.

Know what you mean. Am saving for a new RV. Betty is taking off from her quilting next year and we are going to do some traveling.
