Boy that looks nice!
I promised my wife that I would build her a computer desk / wall unit. Something like the following link, but with a drop down desk in the middle third of the cabinet.

I was going to do it in cherry, but that may be too pricey for me!
In the end, I may have to use a good grade of hardwood ply for the case, and solids for the face frame and door/desk/drawer panels.
Well, maybe I'll win the lotto someday!
