Season Greeting to all of you. This just haven't been my week. The hot water heater were out and the one the plumber put in didn't work so I had to run down to Home Depot and get another as the place he picked up the heater isn't opened on the weekend. It was cheaper for me to go through the HD than buy another from him. Then yesterday had a root canal done now my mouth is sore. My 70 year old sister called needing money as she was kicked out of her apartment because the dog ruined the carpet. She is just to lazy to take the dog outside. Now to top it all off, it is raining and cold. We may get some snow tonight Maybe by tomorrow I'll be looking forward to 12-21-12 :x

Sorry to hear that this has been a bad week for you. I've had four root canals during my life, so I know how that goes. When my last HW heater went, I got a tankless unit. Only downside so far is the yearly maintenance that is required. That costs me $150.00 a visit. I'm going to contact the manufacturer about geting the tools to do it myself. They require that this is done to keep the warranty valid. Maybe your sister should get rid of the dog?

I'll send you a message on 12-22-12!

Found out the water heater was ok, had a big leak under the house so the water heater couldn't get up to temp. Today have to go down to the hardware store and buy some fittings to repair the line. At least there is enough room under the house to move around. Now we have a big storm coming in tonight with winds up in to 60-70 mph range so will probably lose power. At least I have plenty of fuel for the generator. Been a bad week.
