I was thinking the same thing.....

It is that time of year. I'm in my third or fourth day of yard work! All winter long I have ignored it. With the bushes in bloom, now is the time!

Because of that, and dodging raindrops, I have not been out making any images. And, I still have to work on the tressle table /desk for my wife. I've had the lumber stickered for about two weeks to normalize it to my work room. Maybe I can start cutting wood this next week......

Do you use a moisture meter to determined the condition of the wood? I have one and the only way I could determine when to take the lumber out of the kilm.

No, I do not have one. The lumber I am using is kiln dried Southern Yellow Pine. So, I just wanted it to normalize to my work room before I started to cut it. Just something that I read years ago, and have been doing since. I purchased a couple of extra boards. I'm glad I did, since one of them twisted as it dried......

I've been busy doing yard work, home maintenance, etc.

Very little time for photography, or anything else!

One thing I did yesterday, was to apply for Social Security Retirement benefits!

Oh joy.....

Are you back home yet?

Applying or Social Security Retirement Was one of the easiest thing I ever done through the government. Walked in about quiting time and told the clerk what I was there for. It was as if they were waiting for me. She pulled up my info and had me verify it then she hit the transmit key and I was done. Wish other agencies were this good.
