The Mountain

Post by JohnSR »

A couple left over from the other site. Guess I told a lie as I did take a photo of the waterfalls. This probably isn't making any sense but I posted a bunch of photos to another site that Jon and I belong to.
Was trying for the rainbow but didn't do too well at capturing it. Needed to be a little lower but was at the end of the path with a cliff in front of me.

And for those of you who has never been to Washington State, here is the big hump (Mt Rainier) as seen from the southeast side. Mt Rainier is 14,410 feet in high. What makes the mountain so big is the base is at 1000 feet elevation. By the way, there is no saturation added to this photo. The green is how I saw it and this photo is pretty much right out of the camera.
