Baby Birds

I'm not much on bird photos but with this bird bullding a nest in the horse barn, thought I would follow it's progress. Of course these aren't as good as Jon's or Susan's but thought someone would find them interesting. I think my babies are cuter than Jons though.

The nest with four eggs. These eggs are about the size of a large pea.


Four days after taking the eggs photo, they hatched. They were about the size of a large marble.


Was surprised how fast they got their feathers, even before their eyes opened.


This was the last photo I was able to get. I went back 4 days after shooting this and as soon as I walked into the barn they jumped out of the nest and flew away.
