Wet plate: Pre-Kodak, glass plates, tin-types, coated and exposed wet.

There are still a number of people that do this. You mostly see them at Civil War re-enactments here in the states. You may also see them at historical sites here.

Nope, gave up on the wet stuff when I got my Nikon CP950 a few years ago and saw how easy it was to go digital.
Three Scores and 14 years old and still going strong.
