Just wondered if it might be better to cut to the chase with them and ask for a replacement citing "unfit for purpose". I did that with an amplifier a few years back, despite it being nearly 2 years old.
Hi Sparkey Yes it really is me, I'm back!! Hope that you're keeping well :) I had a similar problem a couple of years ago with the Nikon P5600 that I briefly had, that and the review screen banding. I cut my losses I'm afraid and bought the little Leica which is still going great guns. BTW, still ha...
Nice photos, Rick. Don't think I would want to be in the tall bus when it started to slide on the slick roads. It looks top-heavy to me. Thanks John. The buses are alot more stable than they look, but I understand what you mean. Sarah mangaed to get in to work on Friday as the High Speed route only...
They closed Gatwick Airport for 36 hours because the snow was just causing a white out there. We normally get a cold snap but not often this early, January-February is more usual, at least here in Kent. We had at least a weeks warning that it was on it's way but still the local authorities couldn't ...
Hi folks, sorry about the long absence, but the truth is I've actually been so busy I'd clean forgotten about posting some more pictures. So just to get started these were taken at our local station, yeaterda morning and this morning. The lack of trains reflects the weather, which currently is about...
And, there it goes. I should point out that at this time, the trains weren't in public service. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/hs368.ash2/64667_479459987017_653057017_6803126_4461982_n.jpg These trains are dual voltage, running on 750v DC from a third rail on the normal South Eastern sy...
Once it's on the High Speed track it's cleared for 175mph but it is capable of up to 200 mph. This latter speed though, is reserved for the Eurostar, London to Paris service.
Interesting note, the train in the picture is actually designed in the UK and built by Hitachi in Japan.
I shot this on the Leica about a year ago at Rainham Station in Kent about 10 miles from us. The car was in dock and I was making my way home by train. This was a High Speed train on test, the service went live soon after. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs601.snc4/58088_479410317017_653...
