Cathedral of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Charleston, South Carolina.

18mm, 1/60, f3.5, 400 ISO. Hand held.

Church originally built in 1821, and replaced in 1856. The second one burned down in 1861, and the current building was completed in 1907. The steeple was never installed, but they are currently planning to add it in the next few years.

Nice one, Jon. Was it burned down the second time due to the Civil War.

It may have been. Like Chicago, Charleston had a 'Great Fire' in 1861.

I bet you and Sparkey could have taken this image with the D3 at 6400 ISO, with real DOF, and no noise!
