I think it does work ok Jon.. ;)
Perhaps you could put the colour and &W version together so Ican see the difference.. :idea:

Okay Peter, I added the color version above!

Think both the color and b/w looks good. Why don't you try a line drawing of it. It may come out interesting.

Think the color is better BUT it it is still a very ugly bird :D
