Blown Channels
Blown Channels
This is a dumb question and I should know the answer but this old brain is having trouble coming up with the solution. How does a person stop blowing a channel? I have noticed the blue channel seem to always peak outside the box. Here lately the cyan is giving me trouble doing the same thing. Don't get me wrong as the photo colors look fine just that I would like to keep from blowing channels. Sure I can correct them in NX2 but it would be nice to have them come out of the camera correct. Any ideas?

Sorry John, but I don't have a clue! It would be nice to know though.
Re: Blown Channels
Jon, do you have any problems with blown channels?

Re: Blown Channels
Yes. I just live with it. I just make sure that the composite histogram looks good when I make the image.JohnSR wrote:Jon, do you have any problems with blown channels?
Re: Blown Channels
There must be someway to fix the problem. Maybe old Rick knows how to do it>
