I just bought this lens to use on my DX bodies (D70, D200, D2x). I ran a few quick test tonight. Overall, I am happy with it. But, I have up to 15 days to decide. Since I do not have anything in this range now, I will probably keep it. Here are a few quick images:

By the way, #1 and #2 were shot at 400 ISO, not bad for my old D2x!
#3
#4
All of these were hand held, with the shutter speed going as low as 1/15th of a second, and ISO as high as 400.

They look sharp on this end. How well does the D2X handle 1200/2400 ISO?
Three Scores and 14 years old and still going strong.

Anything over 400 ISO is not that great. I really would not want to go there. But, someone said that 1000 ISO appears to be a sweet spot for the D2x. So, I shot a few today. I'll let you know how it goes.JohnSR wrote:They look sharp on this end. How well does the D2X handle 1200/2400 ISO?

Here is a hand held image taken at 1000 ISO using my D2x, and the Sigma 10-20mm lens.
I don't think a D3/D700 user has anything to worry about!
