Heck Jon, he has to figure out where the shutter release is first.

Thats true but that should really confuse him. Doesn't the D2X also have two releases. Had to lock my vertical release as was always tripping it by accident.

Best camera ever.

Its heavy but you get used to it. I would say it is well balanced.

Observations.

Sure as hell have no idea how virtual horizon can be of any use when hand holding. I cant press func button while holding camera still and press shutter too.
Maybe only meant for tripod work....

FX mode certainly brings you back to 35mm days with bang. Where is all my extra distance gone. But then my 28-70 f 2.8 acts the way it is supposed too.

More buttons and options than you could ever want. You can even reverse some of them too.

No pop up flash......but then i rarely used it instead of speedlight anyway.

Glad I bought the OP/TECH strap as your neck aches with this beast on it all day.

Some new terminology too. 3 d matrix. I will have some of that. I updated to v 2.0 of software.

Other than that no regrets in least. More positives than negatives. Cant honestly say my pics are any better but the fun factor is higher.
