I'm glad to see that it was just the charger. That is less expensive to replace....

Had one go bad on the D100. Just hope the D3 charger keeps working. Hate to have to buy a new camera just because the charger went bad. Not sure where a person can get a new one for the D3. Nikon doesn't list it.

You should be able to buy a third party charger. If not, you can look on Ebay for a D1x or something like it with charger. That one should work.

You can pick up a nice D3 from KEH.com for about $2500.00 now.....

Love my D200 and D3 cameras.
