Have been running 20 Mb broadband from UPC for last few years and upgraded to 50 Mb yesterday.

Tech coming out Monday to fit new modem.

What you got in your area ?

That is one of the problems living out in the country. The best I can get is DSL but it sure is faster than dial-up.

This connection in Iowa is through a 3G cell phone system. They have a router plugged into the wall outlet that will allow up to 15 devices to be attached. It is the base package that allows only 6 GB's of bandwidth per month. That should be more than enough for Scype, email, and browsing the web. I can't remember the download speed. Seems to be okay, but not as fast as my Comcast broadband connection at home. Still, we are about seven miles from the nearest town.
