How is the H--- does a person reduce a photo down to 100 pixX100pix and only have 8KB. I have been working all afternoon trying to get a photo down that small. I can get the 100 pix ok but can't get it down to 8 KB. Think I'll just send Jon the photo and let him reduce it.

What size are you getting it down to? The 8 KB is the default, but I can increase it.

By the way, why do you think I've always had the same avatar at each forum I belong to? Because it is so hard to make one that size!

How about if I increase the limit to 50 kb? Will that work for you?

I give up. I got it down to 27k but now Keep getting this message even though the photo is 85X100 pixels.

The submitted avatar is 0 pixels wide and 0 pixels high. Avatars must be at least 20 pixels wide and 20 pixels high, but no larger than 100 pixels wide and 100 pixels high.

Email the file to me at 'admin at gophotog.org'

I'll try it on my test system, and figure it out from there.

John,

Try to upload your avatar again to the User Control Panel. I just did it with this account, with no problems. (I'll delete the avatar from this account once you establish yours!)
