My photography has been accepted!

Post by jon.oman »

I just went through a two month two step jury process, to have my photography accepted by the South Carolina Artisans Center. The first part was to submit digital images to the center. These images were then forwarded to three jurists out of the state of South Carolina. If these people liked what they saw, then you would be asked to bring the five actual items into the center in the city of Walterboro, South Carolina. I did that yesterday. In this second step, the photographs were reviewed by another group of three jurists. They made the final selections. I am happy to say that my five images were selected to be sold at the center!

Here is a link to the images that I submitted:

The actual prints are 13x19 inches in size, matted and framed to 18x24 inches.

I also dropped off my entire inventory of bagged non-matted photographs. This consisted of 48 8x12 inch prints, and 11 12x18 inch prints. All of these are available for sale at the center.

Thanks Sparkey! I'm leaning towards a D800, as soon as I know they have fixed the left focus problem.....
