It wasn't supposed to rain until tonight so yesterday took the cover off my 12 feet lumber so they could get some air through the stack. Woke up this morning and everything is wet. Guess I better get my butt out there and cover the stack. It had been real nice for the past week with temps up in the high 50's but according to the WX man, rain all this next week. I dropped a fir yesterday and cut 4 8 foot logs off it, Still have 3 more logs to cutout of it but looks like that will be put on hold till dry weather returns.

Well, you can never depend on the weather! I bet you just hate that......

We have sun, no clouds, and temps in the low 60's.

Well when I looked at the weather map last night, should have known better than to trust those guys. Heavy clouds were right up against the coast and the low was setting over Vancouver Island which is a indicator of the "Pineapple Express" aimed at us. Oh well live and learn.
