Trestle Table Desk

There was a three month gap where life just got in the way! I just could not work on it, no matter how much I wanted to.
I used Southern Yellow Pine. It is harder and denser than some hardwoods, plus I could afford it!

Sure looks good. Went out today and started up the sawmill and let it run for awhile. It's been nearly 2 months since I cut anything on it. Felt fairly good today. Betty and I walked around the upper pasture tonight and I wasn't huffing and puffing. Felt good to get out for awhile.

Well, construction is done! Now comes sanding, sanding, sanding...., plus finishing, finishing, and finishing.
A few more images of the construction.
By the way, the table is upside down. I need help to turn it over, because it is so heavy!
