My first art show!

Post by jon.oman »

I found out today that the jury has accepted my photography for a monthly art show here in Summerville. This venue is strictly artwork, and you have to be approved before participating. So, my photography will now be part of an art show, without having to compete with people buying their weekly vegetables!

My first time will be on the 17th of this month. This event only runs from May until September.

Congratulations Jon. After viewing your work, think you will do well.

Well, last evening was my first Art Walk event. I've actually done better at the Farmer's Market than I did yesterday. But, I think the reason is that it rained for a bit, and drove the people away. Overall though, it was a good experience! I did meet a lot of nice people, who seemed more interested in art, than in vegetables.
