Sunday week and we are off for 10 days R/R.
As soon as as I write La La land I always think of Sr. who really wants to go there and enjoy their fishy legs and the like....
Anyway we have had enough rain lately to do us for the rest of the year.


Due to the restrictions on air travel lately it will be the trusty P7000 that travels. Super camera except for that stupid lens cover that constantly sticks and leaves a black shadow in corner of pics unless you notice it and push back with your finger. Its been back to shop many times but they all do it. Why nikon cant just put the standard clip on cover on these cameras is beyond me. Rant over.....feel better already.

My wife and I will be going on a Mediterranean cruise towards the end of next year. Viking River Cruises (This time an ocean cruise).

Day3 is Toulon France and that is about 3 hour drive from me.

Hope you are enjoying your vacation. One thing good about French cooking is I wouldn't have to worry about something sticking in my throat. All those slimmy slugs and rotting fish probbly wouldn't get past my lips.
Had a MRI and a PET scan this week and so far nothing is showing up. It's hard to believe it will soon be a year since they found the first growth (small cell) the worse kind as normally it heads for the brain. The MRI was for the head and they didn't see anything in there that looked like cancer. Ok Sparkey have your fun with that last statement.
