On the way to my son

I have been planning on taking a photo of this church for quite awhile but each time there was a auto parked in the lot. It is a Catholic church and I find it kind of strange looking. Looks like something I would expect to see in the Middle East.

Down the road about a half mile stands this plaque. Back in the old days there used to be a fort on this spot. In the 1800's a few tribes in Washington decided to chase the settlers out. The settlers build forts all over Western Washington to protect themselves. The Indians never attacked so after two years the settlers returned to their homes, abandoning the forts. Nothing is left of the forts except these plaques marking where they used to stand. Looking at the old Oak tree, wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't standing when the fort was here.
