Is it still active? Reason I asked, it looks like a lot of tire tracks going up to that door. What kind of mine is it?
Three Scores and 14 years old and still going strong.

The mine is not active. It is used by Michigan Tech mining engineers, and by the county to store snowplows, etc. It was a copper/silver mine.

It was finished long ago! Now, they are just trying to keep it from falling down.
