Must be down in the mud as it was 35 degrees. Had a nice chat with a guy down in South Africa last night on 80 mtrs. Was surprised as I thought 80 mtrs was only good up to 1000 miles. Looking at the time I made contact, we must have been communicating via the "gray line". I talk to Russia that way except they always have a warble to their signals due to going over the North Pole.
