Heh Sr.....
Re: Heh Sr.....
This is probably the best one to start with. http://www.arrl.org/ or try this one http://www.qrz.com. There is not much to getting your ticket anymore. No more code required. There are only three levels now Tech, Gen, and Extra. If you have a rig, why not renew and join in. There are a lot of hams on the air. I was surprised when getting back into it a few months ago. Figured it would probably be pretty dead with all the texting and voice mail on the C-phones but that is not the case.
Three Scores and 14 years old and still going strong.

Thanks for the links John. I would have to get new gear. I sold what I had because I just could not pass the code requirement. I'll take a look at these.JohnSR wrote:This is probably the best one to start with. http://www.arrl.org/ or try this one http://www.qrz.com. There is not much to getting your ticket anymore. Okay, I thought you were having a meal of mule meat and chips. Now it looks like snails and chips. I think I would rather have the mule!
