What about this one John?
Re: What about this one John?
Boy we sure have came a long way in Amatuer radio. Wonder how much it weighs. I have AL80B amp and can hardly lift it. I need to get a new tube for it and not sure if it will hook up to the Yaesu 950. It pumps out 1200 watts on SSB and 700 watts on CW. When I fire it up all the lights in the house dim. I also have a Yaesu 101 that can put out 150 watts. It was one of the favorite models for the bootleg CB's. It is also a tuble model. Seems the tube jobs could put out more power than the new models. The radio I use is the FT 950 which puts out a max of 100 watts. I normally run it at 50-75 watts.

The interesting thing about this person is that he is a photographer from China. I always thought they did not allow radios of this type?
Re: What about this one John?
I have a couple China stations logged. Their call sign start with a XSA. Also have a few Hong Kong in my logbook. They used to be a VS6 but not sure what it is now.
