Thank you for visiting the Tools For Photographers' website. We have written a number of free tools that can help you
work in the digital photography age we live in. Some of the tools, like the
D70Reader, and the
D70ReaderW programs are
specific to Nikon DSLR cameras. But, other tools can be used with many other camera brands.
The two programs mentioned above, allow you to view the EXIF data embedded into each image file that your camera produces.
But, they also allow you to do many more things with that data. You can generate HTML, Javascript, XML, and CSV versions
of the data. This will allow you to display and/or store the data for your images in many ways. These programs also
allow you to generate the HTML code for a complete web site of a directory of your photographs. A slideshow of your images!
There is also a depth of field program called
Talbot.DOF, that will work with any digital/film camera out there today.
There are two versions of this program. One runs under WinXP/Vista, and one will work on a PocketPC.
The Sunrise/Sunset program
Sol24.Tracker, allows you to determine when the sun will rise and set for any known U.S. ZIP code location,
or for any place in the world that you know the GPS coordinates.
Finally, if you have a supported Nikon DSLR, you could use
ShutterClicks to determine the number of times your cameras
shutter release has been activated.
